Snuneymuxw First Nation invites community to Snuneymuxw Days, a vibrant community event that features war canoe races and family fun. Snuneymuxw Days will take place from Friday, July 26th, to Sunday, July 28th, and promises exciting activities for people of all ages to enjoy.

The event will kick off with exhilarating war canoe races held at The Point (Needham and Shoreline Dr.). For families seeking some good times outside, the Kids Zone at 668 Centre Street will feature a bouncy castle, face painting and special snacks. Food trucks will be parked alongside the activities with a range of foodie favourites, from fry bread to gourmet grilled cheese.

A vibrant vendor marketplace brimming with creativity from a mix of talented makers and artists will take place at the Snuneymuxw Wellness and Recreation Centre’s gym.

Basketball fans will get to experience an adrenaline-pumping youth 3 on 3 basketball tournament (U18 boys and girls), taking place at the outdoor Snuneymuxw basketball court at Needham and Centre Street.
